Operating Principle
The hob installed on the cutter head of the shield machine is pressed on the rock under the thrust of the cutter head. At the same time, the hob rotates around the cutter axis and rotates with the cutter head, and the rock is crushed and falls off or cracks are generated inside the rock. When the cracks generated by the adjacent hob are overblown, large rocks will fall off.
Application Scenarios
The disc cutter is mainly suitable for hard rock strata, such as granite, limestone, etc. In these formations, the hob can give full play to its characteristics of efficient rock crushing and improve construction efficiency.
